Warranty Claim Process

Each Rimoto product comes with a specific warranty period, which you can easily find in the 'Warranty' drop-down on the product page at rimotogear.com

To make a warranty claim, simply complete and submit the 'Warranty Claim' form on our website before your product's warranty period ends. Please note that contacting us before filling out the claim form won't count as a warranty request. To ensure a smooth process, you'll need to provide clear images of your product along with a valid, original tax invoice that meets the criteria listed here. Unfortunately, any claims submitted after the warranty period or missing the required details will be automatically declined. We're here to help, so make sure to submit everything before the warranty expires!

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and damage from normal wear and tear*, but it doesn’t include issues caused by improper care, user errors, mishandling, misuse, neglect, unauthorized alterations/repairs, customization or personalization, or material degradation due to abnormal use or UV exposure.

Please note, the warranty doesn’t cover any loss, damage, or expenses related to personal property, the user, or third parties, even if connected to a manufacturing defect of a Rimoto product. If a claim is accepted by Rimoto, our responsibility is limited to either repairing the product or offering store credit equal to the value on the original purchase invoice.
- For valid warranty claims we accept, we’ll try to arrange a reverse pickup from the address you provided in the warranty claim form. Once the product arrives at our facility and passes physical inspection, at our discretion we’ll either repair it or offer store credit for the value shown on the original purchase invoice. If repaired, we’ll cover the shipping cost to return it to you. If we can’t arrange a reverse pickup, we’ll ask you to ship the product using a trackable courier service, though we won’t be responsible for any loss, damage, or misplacement during transit. After receiving and inspecting the product, we’ll compensate you for the courier charges as store credit (redeemable on rimotogear.com), based on the courier invoice, up to a pre-defined maximum. Please note that Rimoto isn’t liable for any damage, delay, or loss while the product is in transit to our warehouse.
- A warranty claim is officially accepted once we receive the product at our facility, and it passes a physical inspection by our Quality Check team to ensure the claim is valid. If the product doesn’t pass the inspection or doesn’t match the images provided when the claim was submitted, we may need to reject the claim and return the same product to you.
- For all accepted warranty claims, our first priority is to see if the product can be repaired. If our factory repairs team confirms that the product can be safely and effectively repaired without compromising its structural integrity, we’ll proceed with the repair and ship it back to you. If the product can’t be repaired, we’ll provide store credit for the original MRP as reflected in the purchase invoice you submitted. The store credit can be used for one or more purchases in a single transaction on rimotogear.com and is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Please note, we don’t offer cash refunds for accepted warranty claims. Any items bought with store credit will maintain the original product’s warranty period.
